Recently, a delegation from Tangshan Shenzhou Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd., led by Chairman Li Gongmin and General Manager Li Minghui, visited China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). Together with the Ministry of Education's Key Laboratory of Coal Processing and Efficient Clean Utilization at CUMT, they held a symposium on the development of clean and efficient dry coal separation under the "Dual Carbon" background.  

Li Qiang, Vice President of CUMT, leaders from the Office of International Cooperation and Development, the Graduate School, and the School of Chemical Engineering, as well as Academician Zhao Yuemin, Chairman of the Academic Committee, and his research team, attended the meeting. The symposium was chaired by Duan Chenlong, Dean of the Graduate School.

Vice President Li Qiang first expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Shenzhou Group for its concern and support for the university's reform and development. He introduced the university's progress and emphasized the significant achievement of Professor Zhao Yuemin being elected as an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, marking a milestone in the university's commitment to its industry roots and innovation-driven development. He expressed hope that both parties could collaborate further around national strategies and work together to contribute more to building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation!

Chairman Li Gongmin of Shenzhou Group first congratulated the university on its achievements and expressed gratitude to China University of Mining and Technology and Academician Zhao Yuemin's team for their long-term technical cooperation and support. He also conveyed the group's willingness to support the construction of the Ministry of Education's Key Laboratory and to deepen industry-academia-research collaboration. Academician Zhao Yuemin introduced future research trends and development directions in the field of mineral processing and provided strategic suggestions for the future development of Shenzhou Group.

Zhong Xiaodong, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Development at China University of Mining and Technology, on behalf of the university, accepted the donation of the IDS Intelligent Dry Coal Separation System and the ZM Dry Separation Experimental System from Shenzhou Group.  

Zhang Haijun, Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology, presented an expert appointment certificate to Chairman Li Gongmin.

The meeting summarized the significant achievements of the collaboration between China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) and Shenzhou Group. Both parties, leveraging the jointly established Hebei Provincial Technology Innovation Center for Dry Coal Processing Equipment, have developed advanced technological equipment, including composite dry separation, dry dense medium separation, and efficient mineral separation systems. This center, the only provincial-level technology innovation center in the field of dry coal separation in China, provides robust technical support for the development of dry coal separation technology in the country.

Both parties firmly believe that the in-depth cooperation between China University of Mining and Technology and Shenzhou Group will surely move to a new stage, forge ahead in the new journey, build up a new era, and will surely make greater contributions to the future development of China's dry coal beneficiation technology innovation and industrialization.
